In this document, CRN presents a summary of findings, analysis and policy recommendations from a study commissioned by Chicago Housing Partnership. The study draws from 1998 audits on 8,704 units, 60% of the city's Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) stock. It presents a profile of the projects as they are now, and examines the key factors affecting performance.
CRN hopes this policy analysis will result in a healthier, sustainable LIHTC portfolio.
